In one he is depicted carrying a flag that reads “never surrender” as he rides a galloping horse with eagles flying around him, while another shows a slim Mr Trump walking through Washington with lightning coming out of his hands as fighter jets fly above him.

“I wish I looked as good as I do on those cards, that I can tell you,” the former president says in the video.

“They give me muscles where, believe me, I don’t have them.”

Mr Trump has previously released two other batches of NFTs to his supporters.

He branded his August arrest a “very sad day for America” in its immediate aftermath but is now capitalising on the mugshot’s popularity among his fans.

“The people that are buying these Trump digital trading cards are new friends of mine, more than anything else,” he is quoted as saying on the NFT website.
